While the REACH Regulation only applies to the European Economic Area (27 EU Member States plus Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway), many non-EEA countries have adopted REACH-like legislations. Although every legislation has its own focus, similarities and overlaps exist. Companies having to deal with such legislations will need the regulatory as well as the scientific and technical knowledge to be compliant.
