RoHS

The European RoHS directive restricts the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment (EEE). Companies producing or placing on the market such EEEs need to document and demonstrate that their products do not contain any of the restricted chemicals in concentrations higher than the specified threshold values.

Internal RoHS auditing is a well-established methodology employed by companies wishing to verify the quality of that documentation.
